ASIA PACIFIC - WHITE-COLLAR JOB OFFERS ON THE RISE

The number of job ads for white-collar professionals is on the rise in the Asia Pacific region for the quarter ended December 2017, according to data from JAC recruitment.

In South Korea, white-collar job ads increased by 40% compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, in Hong Kong, white-collar jobs were up 5% compared to the previous year.

In China, the number of white-collar jobs available during the December quarter increased by 62% compared to the previous year.

JAC Recruitment reports job offers from white collar workers in fields such as sales and marketing as well as accounting and personnel affairs. White-collar also includes factory production control, quality assurance, and design jobs in the manufacturing industry.
