Mental health is an issuethat, whilst readily talked about in the HR world, still needs moreunderstanding across the Board.

When Madalyn Parker, a webdeveloper at Olark Live Chat, explained to her boss that she wanted to takesome time off to work on her emotional wellbeing, he responded in a brilliantway.

The Metro reports that BenCongleton, Olark Live Chat CEO and co-Founder, replied to her message saying: "HeyMadalyn. I just wanted to personally thank you for sending emails like this.Every time you do, I use it as a reminder of the importance of using sick daysfor mental health. I can't believe this is not standard practice at allorganisations. You are an example to us all, and help cut through the stigma sowe can all bring our whole selves to work."

Parker took a screenshotof the message and uploaded it to Twitter - it's now received more than 30,000likes.
