ASAP Recruitment MD guilty of supplying workers without licence

A Director of a recruitment firm has been found guilty of supplying staff without the required licence.

Alison Andrews, Managing Director at ASAP Recruitment, provided the workers to a fish processing plant in Taunton, Somerset.

She pleaded guilty to an offence of unlicensed labour supply under the Gangmasters (Licensing) Act, Bridgwater Mercury reports, for both herself personally and for her company ASAP Recruitment.

This wasn't Andrews' first time in court for an offence such as this either. She and businesses where she had been a Director have been found guilty of similar offences thrice. As a result, her latest application for the required license has been turned down.
