Adecco sees no Brexit impact thus far
The biggest staffing group in the world has posted in-line results for the second quarter and forecasted modest growth, signalling that the Brexit has not hit them - Reuters reports.
Adjusted for training days, Adecco generated organic revenue growth of three per cent in the second quarter. In the UK, their third biggest market, this figure stood at six per cent.
In France, their biggest single market, their growth recovered following the strikes that affected L'hexagone in May.
Their Chief Executive, Alain Dehaze, told Reuters: "We don't see any material impact of Brexit, either in the UK or in the neighbouring countries and the UK's trading partners.
"We have seen a continuation of this modest growth and slow recovery in France in the month of July and also since the beginning of August."
He continued: "The growth is continuing. It is modest growth […] but we don't see any slowdown with a France that is robust, a little bit softer in North America [revenue slowed one per cent in the quarter, and its operating margin contracted year-on-year]."
