ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE WILL SOON BEA REGULAR PART OF HR, 55% OF HR MANAGERS SAY

More than half, 55%, of humanresources managers say artificial intelligence will become a regular part of HRin the next five years, according to a survey by CareerBuilder. In addition,13% are already seeing evidence of AI in HR.

"There are certainaspects of HR that are transactional in nature, such as how we capture candidateand employee information and maintain those records and reports. Automation iskey in finding efficiencies in those processes," said RosemaryHaefner, chief human resources officer for CareerBuilder.

"What robots and AIcan't replace, however, is the human element of HR that shapesthe company culture, provides an environment for employees built on IQ and EQ,works hand in hand with company leaders to meet business goals and ensuresemployees have the training and support to thrive," Haefner said.

According to the survey, payroll isamong the most highly automated areas now is payroll with 50% of HR managerssaying this is fully automated and 42% saying it is partially automated.

The survey included 231 HR managersacross industries and company sizes in the private sector.
