UK's Best Workplaces revealed

Instilling a collaborative, inclusive culture, being socially responsible and offering some of the best employee perks on the market - which seem to receive updates more frequently than our smartphones - as well as running a profitable business can be difficult.

However, proving you're an employer that cares isn't about incredible budgets or showmanship.

With employees becoming ambassadors of our workplaces, as review sites such as Glassdoor tap into our want for authenticity, touting "we're a great employer because of X, Y, Z" isn't enough to convince talent to join.

That's why it's refreshing to see both large and small businesses spanning a variety of sectors named as the UK's greatest employers in this years' Best Workplace awards, created by Great Place to Work.

The methodology to determine the UK's best employers reaches far beyond just reading corporate jargon. They use a 'Trust Index employee survey' and audit the HR and management policies that create the conditions that drive engagement.

Below, we have listed the UK's top ten Best Workplaces in the large business category (number of employees: 500+).
