Jobseeker left 'humiliated' after facing rejection for being 'too small'

The best things come in small packages - or maybe not for one employer who turned down a jobseeker for being 'too small'.

Sanique Allen, 29, interviewed for a role at Turtle Bay in Birmingham, but was left 'humiliated' after, during the trial process, she failed to reach glasses on the top shelf of the bar, resulting in rejection.

Allen, who is 5ft 1in, says her size has never been an issue for her, during her eleven years working as a waitress.

She plans to sue the Caribbean themed cocktail bar for discrimination.
