Fashion firm sacks staff by Instagram

Fashion firm Kit and Ace has informed staff that stores will be closing by Instagram and Facebook.

It has, as one would expect, received a lot of criticism.

It goes without saying: any change in employment status should be done face to face. Hearing about such a change, which has huge ramifications to an employee's life, third-hand is a sickening feeling and neglects the 'Human' that makes up half of HR.

Deloitte Restructuring Services will handle the administration of the organisation's Australian arm.
